well, Audi introduced the 5 cyl in '78...and is still putting them in some of
their models (the turbocharged S4 has a 5 cyl, i believe...?) and audi 5000's
(badged as 100, or 200) were made up thru '91....so...theres plenty of them
around...

(just saw a '89 100 in a wrecking yard a few months back...guy wanted 200
bucks for the engine, complete.....(car was rolled) he said he cant get rid of
the 5cyls...they never go bad..  :<)
every audi 5000 in that yard - there had to be like 10-15..had the engine
still in it..
