You know, I was thinking, why go to all the trouble to install a catalytic heater in a Westie equipped with a stove and propane system? Suppose you had some cup shaped catalytic elements that you could drop over the top of your stove burners and let the burner gas jets feed the catalytic elements? Would this not work for a catalytic heater? Why hasn't anyone come out with such devices?

It seems, to me, like a wonderfully simple and effective approach for occasional heating while stationary.
