Back in the good 'ol days we used to take guns back and forth to our cabin in CAnada... sounds like another world now. Now they won't even let you bring mace,or anything else you could protect yourself with. The bad guys know you are defenseless if you have US plates...I didn't feel good about driving my Westy into Canada having been searched and cleared by customs. Kept checking to see if anyone was following me! Canada now has a higher home robbery (hot burglerly) rate than the supposably crime ridden US. Lawmakers are intent on making the country safe for criminals. Great! Maybe our thugs will move up there!

Oh and most important... > if you are coming to CDN... DON'T bring a gun....the law for even having a > gun in CDN is worst than robbing a 7-11... and if you get searched (which > they can do at any time) don't complain or you'll be charged with > obstructing justice... and if they find that little personal protector (so > loved by Yanks) you'll be in really BIG trouble.... In CDN they are putting > in place a law that will make every person register (read TAX) ANY > firearm... this includes, Farmers & Natives ... NO you will not be able to > protect yourself from bears or feed yourself & Tribe...
