Hey Volks, I'm back!


George blew through, we cleaned up and now Mitch is blowing through.
We're fine and so are our Vanagons. The only exception is that the 87
Syncro has developed a real nasty oil leak. After checking the engine
over and under, I believe the source is coming from the top of the oil
cooler. I've taken the filter off [oil drained] and took the nut off the
shaft that secured the cooler to engine.


I've looked in Bentley [page 17-7] but there isn't anything helpful
there. Any one have an experiance or an idea of how to do this?
