i spoke to Detlev AGAIN yesterday - and he said they have just started the
swap of putting a '86 audi 5cyl turbo engine into a customers '89
Vanagon....and he said the goal is to get it ALL TO FIT UNDER THE ENGINE LID,
WITHOUT RAISING IT.
he did NOT say anything about raising the lid 1.5 inch... ( i even asked him,
again)
they will slightly lower the eng, and modify intake.
im not sure who michael sullivan talked to, as Detlev insisted that the goal
is to get it all under the lid...
anyone wants to kniow more about this, talk to Detlev...i posted his number
yesterday.
