Does anyone know of a company that sells adapter kits for NON-VW engines, to go in a 87 Syncro? Can you reccomend a good engine with easily available parts and service. I'd like to try a Diesel engine out of an Isuzu P'up. Any ideas, thoughts on this choice. I live in an area where VW parts and service are impossible to find. I can't Mail Order a mechanic like I do parts!

Any help will be apprecited.
