Dan,

>That $5000 covered everything you mentioned to >upgrade plus Labor?

I am assembling the engine and installing the engine and tranny. I am also blue printing all the parts: sanding, adjusting, grinding fit to be perfect (the factory has greater tolerance than I do. I am a perfectionist).

$5000 is my budget. I will reevaluate some of the parts I plan to replace when I get near that limit.

Machine work as follows:

Demello, CA: C/W crank, rods and balancing AVP, CA: heads, custom cam Weddle Engineering, CA: transmission Swain Tech Coatings, NY: Coatings T-Hoff: Raleigh, NC: Local machine/parts shop

My house: Wake Forest, NC: Assembly and install.

>Are you doing all the labor yourself?

All that I am can. I have bought some additional tools to do work my self.

For any that are interested I can give a detailed list of what parts were used and where I purchased them. I also will give a report of the results when it is on the road again...

Robert
