Subject: New Ig Switch, Still no Fuel Pump
Comments: To: vanagon@vanagon.com

Hello all,

I was hopeful that gmb's keyring theory had my fuel pump out of line. Not so.

I have replaced the electric half of the ignition switch. I still have intermittant fuel pump function. I suppose the ECU could be bad, but what else? Do I remember some thread about the light switch screwing other things up, too?

I had the radio out and back in (I know the code) and now it doesn't work. I should say it comes on and tunes to stations, but I'm getting no from the speakers. I'll trace it down tomorrow. It shouldn't be related, but ...???
