Hey there, Bus Smashin Wife! I doubt you will find statistics on the husband Vs wife smashin bias. But my common sense tells me that it doesn't have anything to do with gender. The first time I drove my Westy I cut a few turns too tight due to the habit of driving a different vehicle. Glad I didn't have my new tires on it as I went over several curbs before I got the hang of the Westy. Those curbs could easily have been poles at a gas station or any place else. I'd say the person most likely to be Bus Smashin (at least from not being used to its turning characteristics), would be the person who gets the least practice driving it. At least I hope there's no bias towards women doin' the Smashin'.

If there is I may never get married! :) Anyway what's done is done. I suggest you learn what you can from all this, drop the rest, and have a laugh along with your husband. A sure sign of a truly happy person is one who can laugh at themselves. Something I'm still working on. Bill (single) :) 90 Westy Syncro (unSmashed) Lake Tahoe
