<< Please excuse me if this subject has been discussed before, but I would like to know if anyone has compiled stats on who is more likely to smash the bus: husband or wife? I refuse to believe that wives are more likely to get into accidents, but since this bus-smashing incident I've had to endure several stories about "The time my wife smashed <insert your vehicle here>." >>

dont feel too bad - a friend of mine backed his '70 bus into one of those damn gas pump island metal poles (they put those there, just for vw buses to run into) and it took out his whole decklid, bumper, and apron.....had to pry the decklid open with a crowbar just to check the oil...... :<(

chris ~every~ vw van/bus i've ever owned has had a mangled rear bumper.....
