Ok, so you was unlucky enough to loose both headlights at the same time, and you
found out that both bulbs were blown. I would suggest one more thing that could
have been the trouble if the bulbs were fine; the switch relay, the relay that
switches from low to high when you pull the turnsignal switch. This happened on
an older Mazda my family owned several years ago!
