Dear David and other listees,
I went to see Wayne Ross' 72 Campmobile last week. It is in very nice shape -- no rust that I could tell. The car has been stored in a garage for the last two years since Wayne's accident. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to start it as the battery was kaput. But I'm sure that it is fine based on the way the rest of the bus looks/feels.
Also, Wayne is a very interesting and charming fellow!
GOOD THINGS: - looks nice and clean inside and out - no rust that I could see - well kept - interior has been newly redone in black fabric - no moldy smell to the car
"NOT SO GOOD" THINGS: - wood panelling in interior was peeling - driver's door key was "sticky" -- probably just needs some grease - car was painted a few years ago -- looks "ok" but not "flawless" either (note: I'm _very_ picky when it come to paint) - "new" black interior cloth is not original for this year/model/color (note: he has the original interior pieces)
