"Blue Eyes" suggests the moral to the story is "every long term Vanagon/Westy owner should own and carry a Bentley Shop manual in their vehicle" and I probably agree because I do that. And, even though other posts indicate "bigger and better" Alldata CDs may be available to repair shops than the one being discussed originally, I think the moral is also "evaluate the shop's Vanagon savvy/experience" if you're going to take the beauty/beast to a shop. |
