Subject: Plat cat heater in vanagon photo

If anyone is interested, here is a photo of the vented platinum catalytic heater installation in my vanagon.

As you can see on the picture, there is no cabinet around the heater. It is just mounted on a board against the back of the battery box behind the passenger seat. On the right side you can see the exhaust hose where it exits the plat cat and then goes through the floor. I rerouted the exhaust inside the plat cat heater so that it exits on the right side. This simplied the installation. There still is enough space next to it for the fire extinguisher.

Photo was taken by James at our Maryhill wetwestie club campout. Thanks to Jim Arnott, fellow wetwestie club member, for posting this picture of our vanagon on his website.
