Last time that I check with the vendors on-line, they were about $34
each...somewhat more than the GE's.  The major difference the the light
pattern....BIG difference.  Also, you don't need to throw out the whole assy
if it burns out, only the bulb, plus there are a wide variety of bulbs
available (different wattages, and even colors.  Blue works especially
well...almost looks like xenon lamps).  BTW: The H-4's I'm talking about are
also used in many motorbikes 7" round just like the Vanagon.
