Mine used to do this too....it was the sliding door switch, I'd check that first. But you could be ground a wire for that circuit someplace. Hello all,

My '91 is low on coolant. I've only qwned it for a couple of months so this is the first time I've added some. My question is about the type of antifreeze to use. i have some Prestone Low-tox antifreeze. The bottle is labeled as safe for all metals. Is this the phosphate-free I've been reading about?

I also have a problem with the interior lights. The van is a Carat model and has the interior lights running the length of the headliner. When I have them set to turn on when the door is opened they flash when I'm driving down the road, not all the time or steady just irratically. I haven't tried to fix this yet. I was thinking maybe the door switch. Is this a good place to look or is this a common problem that's cause lies elsewhere. Any help would be appreciated.

Later, Bill '91 Carat Kansas
