Thanks for all your help.

-Diff lock is not stuck (jacked up rear wheel spins freely) -Front diff is now drained & refilled, nothing looked abnormal -Must be the VC. :( I am interested in ordering one.

Why should the driveshaft be removed? What damage will be done if I don't?
