Greetings WasserVolks:

Yesterday I picked up a set of factory steel wheels and wheel covers from a brand new Passat. They are 15"x 6.5" with 35 mm offsets.

Does anyone on the list have actual experience using these wheels on a Vanagon? Will they do the job? I currently run 185R14s on my 86 GL and would like to improve performance on sandy rough dirt roads without losing too much highway performance.

TIA -- Frank
