YauMan - Yup, it's good to find someone in the know! Ever known any man who was man enough to tame a Renault Dauphine??? The very NAME reminds me of my Ex! Can't be done. Our Vanagons, as well as their progenitors, are WICKED BEASTS!!! Talk to anyone who has had success in ripping our their heart and replacing it with an American V-6 engine. They HAD to make their plans our of earshot of their beloved!!! If really known, they lovingly assured their beloved that they were simply going to have her heart "blueprinted" along with all new, shiny parts, before performing the surgery. Then, after the transplant, they wasted NO time in paying the shipping to have the old heart, the 1.9/2.1, delivered to another List member, EH?
