Kent - There's NO substitute for a Bentley in every Vanagon!!!  Just
take a bit of advice from one who knows, though.  NEVER, NEVER "loan"
one's Bentley to a Vanagon-load of hippies trying to make it out to
Arizona for some concert/gathering/happening while broken down in your
town!!!  That's why I do not have a Bentley in mine.

Back in June, I did such.  In my little TN town, found a Vanagon near my
office, with 5 hippies & their gear unceremoniously dumped on the grass
beside their van, while #6 was bent over the rear deck.  Out of reflex,
I HAD to turn around to see if I could "help".  FIRST mistake.

Nice '86GL with an automatic.  #6 had bought the van the week before,
gathered his brethren together in Northern TN and they were on their way
to Atlanta for some renowned head-banging concert and then were planning
on heading to Arizona for some other "gathering".  Blown a coolant hose
about 20 miles away, replaced it and the thermostat, on the road, and,
by the time they made it to Soddy Daisy, were having the traditional
"air-in-the-system-blues"!

Gave them the usual LIST advice, loaned them my Bentley for reassurance,
and wished them Godspeed.  Received assurances that they would mail my
Bentley back to me once they returned.  Haven't seen it yet.  Perhaps
they are residing with Marcus in TX?
