Forget the Windex.   If you get 99% rubbing alcohol and use it as a rinse,
then there is no water on the reflective surfaces and bare metal bulb
mounts.   The evaporation of the alcohol is residue free.  Much easier to
dry.  I rinsed 3-4 times and my foggy lights are extremely clear.

Please note - During the past 17 years of operation, several gigabytes of Vanagon mail messages have been archived. Searching the entire collection will take up to five minutes to complete. Please be patient!
