Forget the Windex. If you get 99% rubbing alcohol and use it as a rinse, then there is no water on the reflective surfaces and bare metal bulb mounts. The evaporation of the alcohol is residue free. Much easier to dry. I rinsed 3-4 times and my foggy lights are extremely clear.
