Subject: Finally got me a westy!!!

Hi Everyone! I have been lurking here for a long time and have learned alot while shopping for a westy. Saturday I found the vehicle of choice. She is a beautiful 1985 Westy GL automatic with 105K miles and a fresh rebuild with new paint. I bought it in Phoenix AZ (no rust!) and drove it all the way home to Reno straight through (a gamble I know, but hey look where I live!). She brought me home with no problems, and the heater worked great ( I also have a 71 westy-no heat). I brought two friends with me to share the 15 hour drive, but I enjoyed it so much I drove 12 of the 15 hours. She only set me back $4400, not a steal, but I feel very good about it. I am sure I will be calling on all of your expertise in the future.....
