Dear John:

I too have a gas heater in my 1985 van. Originally I had no response from the button for the auxillary heater. I located the fuses on the left of the steering column and replace a red one and presto I have grumblings under the van and cold air shooting out from under the driver's seat. I cannot locate any fuses on the right of the column. Behind the heater button there seems to be a connection. Is a fuse located inside this? I don't seem to be able to separate it. Any suggestions as to why I don't have heat. Also the light on the button doesn't seem to light up. Thanks for your time. Susan
