Sorry that I cannot help you, but I can tell you that you are not crazy. My
85 GL has the front calipers set up the same way. Thank God that we don't
have to remove the calipers when we change the brake pads! Good luck, I
will be watching the list for an answer, because I am going to have to
change the rotors sometime here, and I don't look foward to bleeding the
brake lines.
