well, what i like to do is ride around in the National Forest near here ... on some little dirt roads that criss-cross and twist and turn. not the fire roads ... although there is one that i can make it through on :) ... but just the access roads that are well-kept and well-drained. it's just kinda peaceful and calming to ride along in the woods. rarely ever run into anybody else. sometimes, if it's too wet, just cruising along on the backroads provided and paved by the state and county is fun. better take a map, though ... it's easy to get a little lost if you take this or that road on a whim. ;) joel |
