Good Morrow, Tried to follow the long synthetic oil thread. Read only one response to question of how many have introduced it to anything other than new or very low mileage engines. My 89 Westy has 44K and I would like to try Mobil 1. Would appreciate hearing about anyone's experience changing to synthetic on higher mileage engines. I've _heard_ that synthetics are best used on new engines. Older engines develop leaks, worn parts require thicker oil, etc. If you've had experience, please let me know the results.
