I'm in the process of purchasing a 88 crew cab synchro from canada. The owner said i need a letter of compliance from Volkswagon of America. VWoA won't give that to me because the van does not meet US safety standards. The letter is only needed to get across the border. I was thinking about rolling the dice and throwing a PA tag on the van to get the van into the US. I realize that could be a really bad idea. Anyone have any suggestions? thanks tyler -philly 215 985-0882 |
