Ken, I use Amsoil synthetic gear lube SAE 80W-90 which has the single spec of GL-4 (as per Bentley). By the gallon jug, its $16.80/gal. I put it in both the front differential and the rear transaxle. I realize that GL-5 could be used in the front differential but I didn't want to get confused at my advanced age.
