i ytped something out before on this funn little topic but now i wanna revise it.. A bus is what I drive at work. it hold 90 kids or about half that in high schoolers. it has a mid-engine. it has 210 hp and 3 axles and dual air brakes...that is a BUS. Vanagons are Vanagons. Van + Wagon= Vanagon. remember the old ads when they came out. they said that. I remember that and I was 9 and didnt know 2 bits about VW. I used to call my old Kombi a bus as a fun name. that's all . Actually after thinking about it I rarely call my vanagon a bus or van..I call it what it is, by it's model or it's name, Ed. to me all the VW rolling boxes up to 1991 are Type 2s...(my schoolbus is a Type 2 hehe; the small van cutaway chassis buses are type 1s) |
