Subject: 23 window breadloaf triplecab westy?

I have been pondering putting a roof rack on my Westy (as it seems several of you have been lately) so I picked up a Thule catalog. Thumbing thought it, I came acroos a sepia-toned picture of a rather interesting vehicle. At first it appeared to be a bay-window style doublecab, which would have been cool enough on its own, but something seemed unusual about it.

The first thing that I noticed is that the cab seemed to be longer that a doublecab would be. Upon studying it closer it actually appeared to be the length of an normal van. So perhaps someone stretched the chassis and added a pickup bed behind a bus. But that doesn't appear to be all.

The roof is the "23 window" style that I am used to seeing on splitties. It has the little "side port" windows all around as well as a huge sunroof opening. On top of all this the side window on the bus is the "louvered" style that I associate with mid-seventies westies.

This could then be the ultimate vehicle of its kind. The luxury or the roof windows, a westy interior for camping and a bed for hauling stuff. I must say that I'm quite envious of whoever owns and drives this little concoction!
