Having just completed a 3000 mile roadtrip to Oregon and Northern California, I am very pleased with my 87 Syncro Gl ( Genveva) she ran great and got 18- 21 mpg traveling around 70 mph most of the time. I did notice my waterpump was weeping more and more as the trip progressed and my vc seemed to get over active after long stretches of fast driving.I have a question about my vc possibly acting up. I find that when get off the interstate and try to turn hard or try to make a u turn it binds like a mofo!!. My tires are all the same.(Yoko 370's) I have the pressure at what the stickers suggests. After things cool down my vc doesn't bind up. Open to suggestions... Also I just had the waterpump replaced last year. My mechanic said he put the " good kind" in. Well it's not a factory one as the mechanic in Chico, CA pointed out. Does it matter??
