Vanagoneers;

I have read with interest the postings about bad experiences with The Bus Depot. What I find most interesting is that I have had no problems dealing with them and I tend to bring out the worst in vendors - especially on the phone! By a quick talley of the receipts from TBD in the Vanagon file, it appears that Ron and company have saved me about $1000.00 over dealer prices over the past year. There is something to be said for this that Sammy can't ignore.

I dabble in a lot of mechanical projects from VW's to British Cars to motorcycles to garden tractors and, by so doing, get a chance to deal with many, varied hawkers of parts. I can truthfully say that Ron and TBD have been one of the best of that lot to promptly satisfy my order. When I factor in the cost savings, they hop right to the top of the list.

I can also truthfully say that had I not discovered TBD I would have long-ago gotten rid of my Vanagon. There's just no way I could cost-justify maintaining and reconditioning it having to pay VW dealer prices for parts. For this I sincerly thank Ron.

Obviously, I can only speak from personal experiences but I would have no trouble recommending TBD to anyone in need of Vanagon parts. I don't know for sure, but strongly suspect, that I'm not the only one of their customers that feels this way.

So there - you have 1 Sammy's GOOD experiences with this outfit.
