Subject: adding extra seating

Because I had taken it out the day my old van (a 7 seater) burned, I still have the middle 2 person bench seat from it in my basement. I now own a Westy and sometimes think that having room for a couple of extra passengers might be nice on occasion.

Therefore I've wondered if it might be possible to add the old seat to the new van. I know that Vanagons were available in a nine seat version. I was thinking that if the bolt holes already existed under my Westy floor for the middle seat of a 9 seater, I might be able to use them to bolt in this seat. I realize that it would be right in from of the refrigerator, but I think that most of the time when I'd be hauling that many passengers I wouldn't be using the "camper mode" of the van anyway.

Anyone know if this is possible?
