As the head discussion cop, I would have to say that posting good or bad service reports for Vanagon vendors is very germain to the list. Apologies for bad service and reports on what vendors are doing to rectify the situation are also valid. Everyone on the list should know when a vendor screws up, and they should also know that the vendor is willing to do something to repair their mistakes and build customer satisfaction.

HOWEVER, discussing these items ad infinitum adds little to the communal knowledge base of the list, and I would ask folks to show restraint in doing so. It's easy enough to create a three-way private discussion between the complainee, the defendee, and the vendor being discussed.

Thanks for your cooperation.
