Yeah, wasn't sure about the actual weight. Just approximated 50 tons to make a point. I don't really think 35 tons would do much less damage than 50, but thankyou for clarifying.

My friend(CJ) said he felt like a cop when he kissed his wife goodbye every morning, didn't know if he was coming back. Now that sounds kinda dramatic, but he did have a number of near misses which remain burned in his brain to this day. The most notable being another semi which failed to stop for a traffic light because the driver had dosed off. CJ got the green and started pulling out into the intersection. He caught the approaching semi from the corner of his left eye and jerked the wheel hard right to lessen the impact. The dozing driver woke up at exactly that instant and jerked his steering wheel left. His rig tipped over on its right side and slammed into the cab of CJ's truck. The combination of the evasive maneuvers was enough to save everyone, CJ said his cab would have been cut in half if the approaching truck hadn't swerved and rolled. The accident happened at night, and he says he will never forget the image of the semi's lights coming toward him.
