FWIW I have been asked/stated the following from other vehicle drivers.

(1) Is that a VW "BUS"? (2) Is your "BUS" for sale? (3) Does your "BUS" have heat or AC? (4) Those VW "BUSES" are cool! (5) I've always wanted a "BUS" like that! (6) There is a lot of room in your "BUS" (7) Can I test drive your "BUS"? (8) Is that pronounced Van-again or Van-agone?

I can go on, but you get the idea. While both of my vehicles are Vanagons, I call them both a BUS and a VAN. And my 85 GL is a LOT of FUN to drive unlike any vehicle out there on the market today. And with the kids getting picked up in it after school, I (we)sometimes feel like a BUS driver. :-) My 85 GL is black in color and my kids thought it was a magic school bus based on some after school program they had watched last year. While "dad" relates it to the popular song by the WHO, who he saw in concert back in the early seventies in Springfield, MA. :-)
