interesting....nobody, not even complete automotive idiots, or most females (no, females are NOT idiots, its just that the majority of them aren't into the "car thing" ) has ever referred to any of my Vanagons, as a "Bus". A "truck" maybe.."car" maybe, "minivan" (puke) maybe....but never a "Bus".

most people associate the "Bus" nomenclature as referring to the old, hippy style, aircooled, rounded looking vw vans of the '50's, '60's and '70's.

truthfully - if there was no \X/ symbol on the front of the Vanagon, i doubt many "non-VW" people would even think its a Volkswagen. personally, i think the boxy vanagon looks kinda like those eighties toyota minivans, or those mitsubishi minivans...but bigger.
