In 1996 when driving my Syncro Westy through the Rif mountains of northern Morocco, EVERYBODY knew what the Westy was for!! ALL! road side people tried to flag us down. When I stopped to take a picture of the acres of marijuana growing by the road side (for about 100 kms) a nice 'gentleman' drove by, then turned around and stopped and wanted to discuss "business". He invited us back to his house to sample his wares and said that he knew every hiding place in the Westy and that NO ONE would find anything. We declined his offer, but it was interesting chatting with a real live drug dealer - a real business-man.

Don't let a police dog sniff a van that has even driven through Morocco!! Malcolm S
