I've seen a lot of talk about the hurdles to putting in a 5-speed tranny, as well as ideas on more appropriate gear ratio sizes. What I haven't seen is talk of $'s. What are the costs associated with doing this project, and what are the hitches financially- like shipping, core returns, etc.? I'm not a rich eccentric, but I'd love a fifth gear if it's not cost prohibitive. Thanks.
