Hi, I'm new to the list and also to VW diesels. I have recently acquired a 82 Vanagon Westy with 75,000 miles on it. I'm wondering if any of you can recommend a fuel additive that would be appropriate for the mild Southern California climate I am fortunate enough to live in. I've heard that a fuel additive is a must for diesels. Also hoping for one that is not to expensive as I'm on a tight budget right now. I've seen some at the truck stops that are concentrated so you only are only putting in a capful or so and therefor end up being pretty inexpensive. Thanks for any input on this or anything else for a newbie to VW diesels. Michael Avrea Ventura, California USA |
