Hi all I changed my water adapter this weekend, you may remember me asking a few questions about it. It was a very simple job. Here were the steps that I followed: 1. Removed air filter together with airflow meter. Two hose clamps, one clip and pull off two air pipes. 2. Unclip spring wire holding water adapter in place using fingers. 3. Remove the two water hoses going into the WA from the engine side. (Pliers) and catch water in Bucket(try to) 4. Removed WA out of body plate moving it forward. 5. Remove other two water hoses going into WA from front of car Crawled under car and used pliers. 6. Fit new WA following Reverse order. I lost about 3 liters of water (caught 75% of this in the bucket) which I had to replace in system. Hope this helps others:-) Cheers Jimmy Sanby Cape Town SA Syncro '89 15" |
