Trevor, I use Dry-Z-Air to absorb moisture from within the van. It works very well. Our van is
is garaged, and it's amazing as to the amount of moisture that is
trapped.
I also remove the top bunk cushions, and the rear cushion over the
engine bay, remove the windshield wipers so they don't go "flat" and
if you can, put the van on jackstands. This really helps the tires and
suspension with a static load. I give the engine a fresh oil
change, and remove the battery for winter as well. Also, put in some
fuel stabilizer to keep moisture out of the FULL fuel tank and keeps
the fuel from varnishing. I use RV antifreeze in the water tank that is
flushed through the water system prior to the battery being pulled.
You can also drain the sink trap prior to installling the antifreeze to
eliminate the water in there. Also, fill up your propane tank before
storing. It takes me four days to prepare our van for storage, but its
worth it if it's done right.
Hope this helps
Harry.
