YES, I'm still searching for the "elusive" high-roof top for my vanagon. In the process I've probably called 30 or so VW oriented salvageyards from Cali to Arkansas and everywhere in between. In doing so I have developed quite an extensive list of names, locations, and phone #'s which I would be more than happy to provide to any fellow listees searching for that "special" part. My goal (besides finding my top) (EVERYONE KEEP THEIR EYES OPEN FOR ME!!!) is to have a list of every decent VW salvage yard in North America. So...if anyone knows of a locals favorite yard, repair shops, collectors-Anyone with a substantial amount of bus/vanagon parts...Please e-me with their name, location, contact person if you have one,and phone # so I can add them to my list, (and of course call them about my top)! Particularly any Canadian resources, since I'm not having much luck in the U.S. (don't know the exact figures for VW's imported to canada but I've heard there's quite a few up there) When it's done I can post the results to the list if everyone's interested) Thanks Again!!!
