Helmut, that thought crossed my mind too. The early buses used them, why can't we? This would change the drive to the proper direction, but would give a gear reduction. Kinda defeats the purpose of putting the Audi trans in the van in the first place. I seem to recall looking at the Audi 5000 gearbox and concluding that the diff flip is not possible, but haven't checked the 4000 or vw fox trans yet.
