I've been using Marvel Mystery Oil in Gas and Oil for years with very good results. Some folks claim it actually -is- ATF of some stripe. It has been around for I believe nearly 40 years and you'll never hear an old mechanic bad mouth it. In the gas it dissolves varnish, and in the oil the same thing as well as shaking some carbon loose. I as well have had very good results using to free a sometimes sticky lifter on both my Vanagons. And it's cheap! Yet not as cheap as ATF! -- ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> ><> Shalom 87 GL Mark Magee 91 Westy Kemah TX USA 96 Suzuki 4WD Sport John 14:6 |
