Subject: Water Adapter Repairing?
Comments: To: vanagon@VANAGON.COM

I am sure that this can be repaired. The lid on mine was leaking. The lid seems to be held on by a press fit with an O Ring and some glue. Their are no cracks in the unit. What glue should I use to glue the lid on with? Remember It must be able to take temperature fluctuations and Pressure. Maybe the O Ring is supposed to keep the water away from the glue and that has deteriorated allowing the water/coolant to attach the glue making it a not so good a seal.:-( Why else did the lid fail on mine? Have I got the right idea for the purpose for the O ring?

Sorry about my attempt at drawing the WA but if you have seen it you will probably recognise it - hopefully

Cheers
