Ah, but you can turn the transmission up side down. You'll have to use an adaptor plate of course, but it can be made to work. KEP sells a kit to use a porsche g50 trans in a mid engine configuration, which entails flipping the tranny upside down. I realize price is a problem, but has anyone used a porsche 5 speed? KEP sells all sorts of adaptors for that unit. Nissan V6, Subaru SVX 6, VW VR6, etc.
