Patrick, this sounds like a missing ground, but in this case I would expect that your left headlight also will not work or will be dim, and that your left parker will also go out if the headlights are turned on. Is this the case?

If so, look for bad ground btw the left headlight and ground terminal 10 behind the dash (not sure where exactly -- it appears *not* to be the two clusters left and behind the fusebox). According to Bentley, the turn signal has a 1mm Black/White wire, the parker has a .5mm Gray/Black wire, and the ground is a 1mm Brown which goes to the left headlight with a two-wire crimp -- the other wire, 1.5mm brown goes to ground terminal ten. If I can get my scanner running I can send you the two relevant pages of the circuit diagram if you want.

If not, off the cuff (not rigorously traced) seems as though bad contact at the socket or an open btw the turn/park assy and the headlight would have a similar effect except that the headlight would work, the turn signal would be dim (because it's really the running light bulb that's lit), and the running light still ought to flash with the lights on, but in opposite phase to the rear signal.

Does this help any?
