To the list:

We've just looked at an '84 Vanagon and my wife and I are pretty sure we want to buy it. We're not experienced mechanics at all, but we'd like to learn some things about how to maintain the van ourselves. The questions we have for all of you:

1. Is the Vanagon too complicated for learners? 2. Where could we go to learn about maintenance and repair? 3. Are Vanagons as much fun as they appear to be?

Thank you for your patience!

Mike and Chelsea Tampa, Florida
