Just received my winter tire package today from The Tire Rack. Got new '98 Passat steel wheels ($30 ea.) and 215/75/15 Blizzaks ($67 ea.) , and 4 new nice quality hubcaps ($18 / set). These are 27.75" tall, should be super for my yearly trip into snow country in the northwest. Quite an awesome looking setup, IMO ! Of course I will be machining out the centers today, to fit my Syncro's hubs. One thing I noticed about these tires- the load capacity on them is 1742 lbs. @ 35 PSI !!! This makes them doubly good for our Westies !! Can hardly wait to test them out in some deep stuff ! I'll keep you updated on the handling / capability of my Westy with his new 'feet'.

Karl '87 Westy Syncro TD(2B)
